If you want to accompany children in the autism spectrum with specialist knowledge, patience, and a clear structure, you will find an environment with us where you can work sustainably with an interdisciplinary team. Your tasks • You teach students aged eight to thirteen with different learning prerequisites and a focus on the autism spectrum. With a structured, reliable, and individualized teaching approach, you support them in their cognitive development and promote their strengths. • In interdisciplinary cooperation with specialists from therapy, social pedagogy, and school social work, you develop tailor-made support offers to ensure the holistic promotion of students. • In teaching, you use clear structures, visual aids, and individual learning approaches. This strengthens the independence of the children and enables them to participate actively in school life. • You maintain a trusting exchange with parents and keep them informed about the progress and development of their children. • On your teaching days, you lead the class team, actively contribute your ideas, and participate in collegial consultations, supervisions, and interdisciplinary exchanges. Your profile • You have a degree as a teacher, in school or clinical special needs education, or a comparable university degree with a pedagogical connection. • Working with children in the autism spectrum inspires you. Ideally, you already have experience in this area or want to further develop your specialist competence in a targeted manner. • You design structured learning environments, provide orientation and security, and adapt your teaching flexibly to the individual needs of the children. • With your power of observation, you recognize development potential at an early stage and develop creative and solution-oriented support strategies together with the team. • Patience, empathy, and humor help you build stable relationships and also radiate calm and clarity in demanding situations. • You enjoy working interdisciplinary, contribute your own ideas, and have fun continuously deepening your knowledge in the field of autism.
