Your mission For our client, an internationally active company in the Biel/Bienne region, we are looking for a committed and assertive leadership personality in the field of logistics, starting immediately or by arrangement. In this responsible function, you will take on the personnel leadership of a larger warehouse team and ensure smooth processes in the outbound area. Your activities - Personnel and disciplinary leadership of a team of around 30 employees - Responsibility for deployment planning as well as ensuring efficient daily business in the outbound area - Leadership, promotion, and development of employees as well as conducting employee appraisals - Close cooperation with the operational team leaders (Lead Picking, Lead Packing and Lead Customization) - Ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and company guidelines - Professional handling of demanding employee and conflict situations - Identification and implementation of optimization measures in the warehouse processes - Active presence in the warehouse as well as support for the operational team if required - Cooperation with the Warehouse Manager and other internal interfaces Your profile Your profile - Completed training in the field of logistics or a comparable qualification - Several years of professional experience in logistics - Initial leadership experience in the warehouse or logistics sector - Very good English skills as well as business fluent German or French skills - Assertive, resilient, and responsible personality - Enjoyment in leading employees in a dynamic and multicultural environment - Hands-on mentality as well as willingness to work close to the operational business - Structured, independent, and solution-oriented way of working
