If you want to help protect IT and OT networks in our Cyber Defense Center and contribute to the energy security of Switzerland, we look forward to your application as: Cybersecurity Analyst (80-100%) Help maintain electricity in Switzerland Your responsibilities • You are a member of the Cyber Defense Center, applying your skills and actively contributing to its development through recommendations • You perform threat modeling and identify new SIEM use cases • You analyze attacks, develop countermeasures, and coordinate them during a security incident • You evolve the incident response process • You perform forensic analysis on compromised systems and actively hunt threats (threat hunting) • You keep yourself informed of the evolution of the international threat landscape, particularly in the energy sector • You lead engineering projects and improve existing tools or introduce new ones • You maintain active communication with the SOC and CERT of other critical infrastructure operators and authorities • You participate in on-call duties (approximately 6-8 weeks per year) What distinguishes you • You have at least 3 to 4 years of practical experience as a SOC analyst and/or incident responder • You hold a degree in information security, information technology, or a related field • You understand industrial control systems (ICS) and knowledge of technical issues in electrical substations is an advantage • You are proficient in technologies such as SIEM, EDR, or NDR • Security incident analysis and triage are part of your skills • You have experience with consoles and scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, Python) • You like taking on challenges and solving serious problems, without forgetting the importance of humor • Team spirit is important to you and you enjoy working in a diverse environment • You speak English very well; proficiency in German is an advantage What we offer • Varied and exciting tasks in a unique company in Switzerland. • Independent and flexible working hours (42 hours per week). • 25 to 30 days of leave plus company holidays between Christmas and New Year. • A state-of-the-art working environment close to the Aarau train station. • Professional development opportunities. • Financial and/or time support for internal or external training.
