Coordinator (50%) \- Centre Écoute Contre le Racisme de Genève Le Centre Écoute Contre le Racisme de Genève is recruiting! Le Centre – Écoute contre le racisme (C\-ECR) is a Geneva-based association whose mission is to support persons who are victims or witnesses of racism. The Centre offers the following free and confidential services: listening, advice, psychosocial support, mediation, legal assistance, etc. As a member of the Réseau de centres de conseil pour les victimes du racisme en Suisse, the Centre also contributes to the national census of cases of racial discrimination and is committed to prevention and awareness against racism. Two positions are available: a duty officer and a coordinator. We are looking for two committed and autonomous people to carry the Centre together on a daily basis. The two positions are complementary: they share a common core of missions, while involving specific responsibilities. The final distribution of tasks will be based on the profiles and key skills of the selected candidates. See the job offer "Chargé·e·x de permanence" Coordinator (50%) \- CDI You are responsible for the administrative management of the Centre, while participating in the listening work. Your main missions: Ensure the administrative management and smooth daily operation of the Centre. Manage funding, grant applications, and annual budgets in collaboration with the committee. Ensure the link with the accounting department and the fiduciary. Ensure coordination and communication with the committee. Participate in the listening work: accompany persons who are victims or witnesses of racism, in support of the person in charge of listening. In addition, you will work in close collaboration with the Centre's duty officer to: Collaborate with the cantonal and national networks of centers for advice and the fight against racism Maintain a network with institutional, associative, and private partners. Actively participate in the development of the Centre and its activities: awareness, communication, events, new projects Stay up to date on political and social debates surrounding racism and discrimination, in Switzerland and elsewhere YOUR PROFILE Key skills and experiences Listening and interpersonal skills Ability to set a framework and preserve one's balance in the face of emotionally demanding situations Fine understanding of the issues of racism and discrimination, in their individual and structural dimensions Experience in anti-racism (institutional, activist...) Experience in social work and/or legal advice Experience in the associative sector Administrative and project management skills Excellent command of French and good writing skills (any other language is an asset) Good command of office and collaborative tools Motivation, initiative, and great autonomy Ability to work in a team and communication ease We strongly encourage applications from people affected by racism!
