Application Manager: Medical Informatics

Bern, 100 % *The Directorate of Technology and Innovation (DTI) is responsible for the technology management of the Insel Group. To ensure the operation of medical applications and systems in the Hospital Applications team, we are looking for an Application Manager.* What to expect from you ## • Together with your team, you will be responsible for the operation of around 150 applications, the further development and life-cycle management of your assigned applications, and ensure seamless documentation and budgeting of financial resources • You will be the interface between clinics, IT, and external service providers, as well as a link to medical technology • You will analyze requirements and translate them into sustainable solutions while adhering to the processes and standards of the Insel Group's IT department • You will ensure system availability, perform error analyses, and propose improvement suggestions to support hospital processes • You will plan and coordinate updates, releases, and rollouts in close consultation with the clinics • You will be responsible for smaller projects yourself, according to the guidelines of the Insel Group's IT department • You will actively contribute to the implementation of data protection and data security guidelines - especially when handling sensitive patient data - and take the lead on smaller projects What you bring ## • Completed higher education as an IT specialist, e.g., business IT specialist, medical IT specialist • Ideally, professional experience in the healthcare sector or hospital environment, as well as experience in application management according to ITIL • Good knowledge of operating systems, complex IT infrastructures, and database systems • Analytical, networked thinking, as well as conceptual and planning skills • Independent, structured, proactive work and high self-initiative • Experience with AI and cloud solutions is a plus, and knowledge of information and data security rounds out your profile • Leadership, organizational, and planning skills, combined with good expression, also characterize you Our offer ## • Varied activity in a motivated team • Flexible working hours • Plenty of room for co-design and your own ideas • Exciting new challenges through the ongoing digitization of the hospital group Applications from recruitment agencies will not be considered.
