Assembly Mechanic

Do you want to assemble complete assemblies from scratch and combine mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics and electrics in the process? In this varied position, you will build demanding special vehicles independently from A to Z and, with your technical skills, ensure that all functions are executed reliably and precisely. What the company offers • Friendly and appreciative working atmosphere • Balanced work-life balance • Flexible working models • Modern and well-equipped workplaces • Diverse development and career opportunities • Participation in the company's success • Fresh and regional catering options • Generous mobility offers • Varied and technically demanding assembly work • Long-term perspective in an innovative Swiss industrial company Our customer requests • Completed vocational training as a polymechanic, agricultural machinery mechanic, automotive specialist, truck mechanic, construction machinery mechanic or in a comparable technical profession • Several years of professional experience in mechanical assembly • Knowledge in the field of hydraulics and/or electrics • Good understanding of technical drawings and work instructions • Independent, precise and reliable way of working • High quality awareness • Strong social competence and good communication skills • Very good German skills in speaking and writing at least at level B1 • High level of commitment and resilience • Basic PC user knowledge • Enjoyment of versatile technical tasks and working in a team What awaits you • Assembly of complete assemblies and demanding systems • Construction of special truck trailers with their own hydraulic supply and electrics for special functions • Independent assembly of the trailers from A to Z • Execution of the complete wiring • Testing of all electrical functions • Control of the pneumatic and hydraulic systems • Provision of assembly units • Adjustment and post-processing of individual components • Ensuring the required quality standards • Working according to applicable standards as well as testing and work instructions • Documentation and control of the completed assembly work • Active cooperation with upstream and downstream departments • Participation in the optimization of workflows and overall processes • Much personal responsibility in a professional and collegial environment
