To strengthen our management organization, we are looking for a Head of Education. Your tasks Leadership & coordination of the education department Leadership of the specialist department heads for education, the day school management, the education secretariat, and the patrol service Responsible for school route issues including student transport Steering of school, organizational, and quality development processes Responsibility for budget, finances, and resource planning of the education department Preparation of business cases and decision-making bases for the management & the municipal council Collaboration with cantonal bodies, specialist organizations, and other stakeholders Ensuring efficient structures and processes in the education department What you bring with you Pedagogical training & professional experience in the education sector Leadership experience or willingness to undergo corresponding further training Organizational skills as well as high social & communication competence Understanding of digitalization & ICT topics in the education sector Networked and strategic thinking What you can look forward to A responsible leadership function with scope for design A dedicated team Modern working conditions and flexible forms of work Attractive training and further education opportunities Interested?
