Cutting Tools Methods Technician M/F Company Description We are looking for a Methods Technician M/F for one of our clients in the Watchmaking sector, an expert in the management of cutting tools related to metal chip removal. Job Description Define, select, and provide the cutting tooling solutions necessary for the industrialization of new products as well as the integration of new machining means. Develop and maintain a privileged technical relationship with suppliers in order to identify the best solutions and guarantee the performance of the cutting tools. Ensure the capitalization and sustainability of know-how by updating technical data, references, plans, and tooling standards. Identify improvement opportunities and drive optimization actions aimed at increasing the productivity, quality, and reliability of machining processes. Be the technical reference regarding cutting tools for internal teams (methods, production, industrialization...) as well as external partners. Support production workshops by providing technical support and contributing to the resolution of problems related to cutting tools. Ensure active technological monitoring of market innovations by participating in trade fairs, conducting tests, and performing feasibility studies in order to integrate the best technical solutions. Profile sought Holder of a CFC in polymechanic, or an ES Technician diploma. You have solid experience in machining and master the technologies related to cutting tools, with particular expertise in the machining of stainless steels and precious metals. You are comfortable with CAD/CAM software, ideally CREO. You master cutting speeds and have basics in lubricants. You appreciate collaborative work and like to be close to the field to support teams. Recognized for your rigor and your method, you have a good analytical mind and know how to propose concrete and effective solutions. Possessing excellent interpersonal skills, you communicate with ease with various interlocutors and promote cross-functional exchanges. Curious and adaptable, you evolve easily in various technical environments, in connection with industrialization teams, production workshops, and suppliers.
