Deputy Director and Head of Operations and Finance

As Deputy Director, you will assume a central leadership function within the private clinic and, together with the directorate, bear responsibility for the successful further development of the operation. You will actively shape the operational leadership and ensure high-quality, economical, and patient-oriented service delivery. Your main tasks include: Operational leadership of selected clinical and non-clinical areas. Taking over the deputy role for the Director in strategic, organizational, and operational matters. Responsibility for the financial management and performance of your assigned areas, including budget planning, forecasting, and profitability analyses. Leadership and further development of leaders and teams with a focus on quality, efficiency, and service excellence. Ensuring close cooperation between medical departments, corporate functions, and external partners. Coordination and further development of processes as well as leading cross-departmental optimization and change projects. Co-designing and implementing the corporate strategy as well as supporting the directorate in strategic initiatives. For this demanding leadership position, we are looking for an entrepreneurially-minded personality with proven leadership experience in the healthcare sector. You possess: A university degree in healthcare management, business administration, healthcare management, or a comparable field of study. Several years of leadership and management experience in a clinic, a hospital, or a comparable healthcare institution. Sound knowledge in financial management, controlling, and business management in the healthcare sector. Proven experience in responsibility for budgets, earnings management, and economic optimization of organizational units. A strong understanding of the regulatory, tariff, and health policy framework of the Swiss healthcare system. High social and leadership competence as well as experience in leading executives. Proven competence in project and change management. Entrepreneurial thinking, strategic understanding, and the ability to combine operational excellence with economic success. A confident appearance towards physicians, employees, partners, and external stakeholders. Very good German skills as well as ideally good French, Italian, and/or English skills.
