As of November 1, 2026, or by agreement, the Department of Education, Social Institutions, and Sports, Specialist Unit for Age, Youth, and Integration, is seeking you as a Coordinator for Volunteer Work (60%) ## This is what you can achieve with us • You acquire and accompany volunteers who want to engage with older people in the municipality of Köniz • You coordinate, support, and further develop the neighborhood help for older people, «Zeit-Netz Köniz», together with the volunteers • You administer, document, and ensure the quality of volunteer work • You represent your colleague in the coordination of the «InfoTreff Alter» • You work in a network with other actors in the field of aging and engage in public relations for volunteer services • You are willing to focus on other target groups (e.g., families) This is how you inspire us • You have a higher professional education in the social or health sector, supplemented by further training in volunteer management, project management, or community work • You bring knowledge and professional experience in the field of aging, ideally supplemented by migration and family policy knowledge • You think and act in a networked manner • You can manage projects in a sovereign manner • You enjoy interacting with people • You are a communicative, cooperative, and team-oriented person • Your work style is independent and solution-oriented This is what you can expect from us • A appreciative, collegiate collaboration and a good working atmosphere • Reconciliation of work and private life: annual working hours, part-time work, care days, and function-dependent home office • Generous vacation regulations: at least 26 vacation days, additional age-related vacation days, 41-hour week, as well as the possibility of taking one or two unpaid weeks off • Competence-based development opportunities and individual training and further education • Close collaboration with a second coordinator for volunteer work in a committed team Have we sparked your interest?
