Strategic Buyer (M/F) Our client, a major player in the agri-food industry in Suisse romande, is looking for a Strategic Buyer to strengthen its Purchasing team. Missions Participate in the definition and deployment of Purchasing strategies by category, in collaboration with various internal stakeholders. Analyze supplier markets and conduct studies to identify the best opportunities. Manage tenders, commercial negotiations, and contracting with suppliers. Evaluate and monitor supplier performance in collaboration with the Quality, R&D, Production, and Logistics teams. Identify and anticipate risks related to purchasing and implement appropriate action plans. Represent the Purchasing function in new product development projects and guarantee compliance with Purchasing processes throughout the project cycle. Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes in order to optimize costs, quality, lead times, and total cost of ownership (TCO). Candidate profile Higher education with a technical, commercial, or Supply Chain orientation. Minimum 5 years of experience in a Strategic Buyer role within an industrial environment. Proven experience in negotiation, supplier management, and purchasing project management. Excellent communication skills, team spirit, and sense of service. Leadership, autonomy, sense of responsibility, and ability to manage priorities in a dynamic environment. Good mastery of an ERP (SAP is an asset). Fluent French. Good level of German (minimum B1).
