We are a small and versatile social service in the municipality of Sigriswil (approx. 4-900 inhabitants), responsible for the areas of social assistance and child and adult protection. Due to a retirement, a position is becoming available with us, which is why we are looking for you as a committed specialist in the areas of social assistance and child and adult protection. As of 01. January 2027 or by arrangement, we are looking for a Social Worker 40-60% ## Place of work: Gunten am Thunersee - from July 2027, the social service will be integrated into the newly constructed municipal administration building in Sigriswil. Your tasks: You independently manage cases in economic social assistance and process mandates in child and adult protection on behalf of the KESB. In doing so, you advise people on personal, financial, and legal questions and support them in challenging life situations. You ensure careful documentation as well as timely reporting and work closely with specialists and professional agencies. As a committed team member, you actively contribute to the further development of our quality, standards, and professionalism. Your profile: You have completed training as a Social Worker HF/FH or an equivalent qualification. Ideally, you already have professional experience; however, we also welcome motivated career starters. You have specialist knowledge in social assistance and/or child and adult protection and convince through high social competence, empathy, and strong communication skills. Your way of working is independent, structured, and responsible. You are open to continuous development and contribute actively. You take co-responsibility for a balanced distribution of tasks in a small team and are ready to contribute your knowledge and ideas. A digital way of working is important to us; good knowledge of MS Office as well as ideally experience with KLIB round off your profile.
