Social Worker/in Social Assistance (80–100%) Entry: Immediately or by agreement Your tasks: In this responsible function, you will accompany and support people in challenging life situations. You will combine professional competence with social commitment and actively contribute to creating individual perspectives. Your area of responsibility: • Consulting and accompanying persons in the area of economic social assistance • Checking, assessing and processing support applications • Ensuring needs-based financial support in accordance with legal requirements • Developing decision-making bases for authorities and internal specialist departments • Ongoing review and documentation of support claims • Controlling the implementation of agreed measures and conditions • Interdisciplinary cooperation with authorities, institutions and external specialists • Managing case files as well as creating reports and statements • Supporting clients in developing sustainable solutions to improve their life situation Your profile: • Completed degree in Social Work (FH/HF) or a comparable qualification • Professional experience in the field of social assistance or in a similar social work environment • Knowledge of social insurance law and the Swiss social system is an advantage • Good IT user skills • Independent, structured and responsible way of working • High social competence and professional interaction with people in different life situations • Stress tolerance, assertiveness and a solution-oriented mindset • Enjoyment of working in an interdisciplinary team
