Portrait of the school/institution ### BFF Kompetenz Bildung Bern is the leading intercultural educational center for the topics: bridging offers, care, health, hotel management-housekeeping, childhood pedagogy, social pedagogy, facility management, and further education. 5800 people from over 80 different nations work and learn at the school. In the Vocational Training department, young people and adults in the 2- and 3-year basic training in the professional fields of Care, Health, and Hotel Management-Housekeeping are taught. In addition, an annual general education course for adults is conducted. The learners attend practical and competence-oriented lessons with us. For teaching in our youth training programs for Fachpersonen Gesundheit EFZ, 38.46 %; Fachpersonen Betreuung EFZ, 15.38 %; Assistentinnen/Assistenten Gesundheit Soziales EBA, 37.44 %, we are looking for, after the autumn holidays, from 11 October 2026, or possibly earlier, in the Vocational Training department as part of a substitution (maternity leave), a Physical Education Teacher, 91.28 % ### BFF 3001 Bern Tasks ### You teach physical education according to the school curriculum of the 2- and 3-year basic training. You are part of a dedicated team and actively work within the team. It is expected that a portion of the workload (approx. 50 %) can be continued after the spring holidays, from 26 April 2027. Requirements ### As a trained physical education teacher with a Master's degree and teaching qualification, you have teaching experience. You bring sound professional competencies and are characterized by high initiative, can deal with different learning prerequisites, and enjoy working with learners. You approach behavioral abnormalities in adolescence and generational conflicts professionally. You bring the willingness for proactive, interdisciplinary cooperation in the specialist group and the entire department.
