Watchmaking Quality Controller M/F Job description: On behalf of a watchmaking manufacture recognized for its know-how and the excellence of its products, we are looking for a Quality Controller to strengthen the existing teams. Your mission Within the quality department, you are the guarantor of the conformity of watchmaking components and casing, in compliance with the manufacture's quality standards. Your responsibilities • Prepare and organize one's workstation as well as the necessary tools • Guarantee the cleanliness and good maintenance of the workstation • Respect quality standards, work instructions, and internal procedures • Prepare the fixtures and suitable measuring means: caliper, gauge, micrometer, durometer, comparator Quality control of watchmaking components • Verify serial numbers, references, and quantities • Apply adequate sampling plans (AQL or 100% control) • Identify and apply control standards: plans, control ranges, instructions, reference photos • Control the aesthetics of the parts: scratches, dents, surface treatment marks • Perform dimensional controls according to plans: thickness, length, depth, other technical dimensions • Perform specific controls: hardness, power reserve, amplitude • Pack and protect parts according to defined standards • Evaluate the conformity of measurements according to current quality criteria Monitoring and traceability • Ensure the computer monitoring of controlled parts: stock entry, rejects, rework, parts on hold • Enter and record measured values in internal software Job requirement: Your profile • Confirmed experience in watchmaking quality control • Good mastery of conventional measuring tools • Reading of technical plans indispensable • Sense of detail, rigor, and precision • Ease with computer tools • Team spirit and autonomy
