The Public Prosecutor's Office is the criminal prosecution authority for the entire Vaud territory. It is therefore responsible for directing the preliminary criminal procedure and investigations into offenses brought to its attention, when they concern adults. It also represents the prosecution before the courts and various judicial authorities. The Public Prosecutor's Office consists of the Central Public Prosecutor's Office, the 4 district offices, and the Cantonal Public Prosecutor's Office STRADA. Responsibilities ## • Plan and ensure the proper keeping of the Public Prosecutor's Office's accounting • Develop the budget and ensure its follow-up • Manage statistics and indicators • Supervise the management of seizures In addition to the above activities, you may be required to perform specific tasks, particularly in relation to the SCI and financial projects. The Public Prosecutor's Office offers its staff flexibility in organizing working hours. Qualifications ## • CFC in commerce or equivalent title • Proven experience in a similar position, ideally in a public administration • Ongoing training in finance and accounting, an asset • Ease with computer tools, mainly Excel • Knowledge of the SAP software, a serious asset • Rigor, adaptability, team spirit, and sense of listening • Flexibility, stress resistance, and discretion • Respect for standards and procedures, analytical and synthesis skills • Sense of organization, responsibility, and public service ethics • Clean criminal record and exempt from prosecution or default of property The exercise of an ancillary activity in the same field of activity is considered a conflict of interest and is therefore incompatible with the position.
