Food Sales Assistant

Main tasks • Friendly and competent service to customers • Sale of food, meat and sausage products as well as specialties • Advice on products, origin and preparation • Replenishing and attractive presentation of goods • Checking freshness, quality and shelf life of the products • Operating the cash register and processing payments • Compliance with hygiene and food regulations • Support with orders, goods receipt and inventory management • Assistance with cleaning and maintenance work in the sales area Requirements • Experience in retail, food sales or in a butchery is an advantage • Friendly and well-groomed appearance • Enjoyment of interacting with people • Reliable, independent and careful way of working • Ability to work in a team and resilience • Good German skills; further language skills (e.g. Turkish) are an advantage
