Head of Living & Leisure (70 - 80%)

The Stiftung Workaut is the competence center for people with autism in Eastern Switzerland. We accompany and advise people with autism, their relatives, professionals, and institutions throughout their entire lifespan. For the St. Gallen location, we are looking for a Head of Living & Leisure (70 - 80%) starting 01.02.2027 or by arrangement. Your tasks: • You support and promote people with autism in daily activities, in practical life and developmental tasks, as well as in crises. • As Head of Department, you lead a small team and, as a member of the extended management, help shape the offerings and the further development of the Stiftung Workaut. • You are responsible for personnel and financial planning as well as for the task coordination of your department. • You are active in social space design and committed to crisis intervention. • You network with other professionals, institutions, employers, and cantonal offices. You bring with you: • A qualified education in social pedagogy or a related field as well as initial leadership experience. • An empathetic and clear leadership style. • Specialist knowledge and the desire to shape the Living & Leisure area, particularly with regard to political and social changes in the Canton of St. Gallen. • Knowledge in dealing with people with autism. • Interest in the further strategic and operational design of the Stiftung Workaut. • You are an upright and independent personality.
