To complete our Pleine Terre team, we are recruiting a Sprinkler Irrigation Technician at 100% (M/F) In this role, you play a key role in the management and monitoring of irrigation systems. You ensure the maintenance and repair of equipment and contribute to agricultural tasks. Your mission In this function entirely dedicated to irrigation, you ensure the setup, operation, monitoring, and maintenance of the sprinkler irrigation installations of our agricultural farm. You ensure a reliable, regular water supply adapted to the needs of the crops, taking into account production priorities and weather conditions. The position includes notably the installation of equipment, their maintenance, fault diagnosis as well as the performance of necessary repairs and adjustments. Your main responsibilities Install, move, connect and commission sprinkler irrigation systems; Set up hoses, connectors, sprinklers, cannons, pumps and other necessary equipment; Control the proper functioning of the installations during irrigation cycles; Adapt installations and settings according to plots, crops and climatic conditions; Ensure a homogeneous and efficient distribution of water; Quickly identify leaks, pressure losses, breakdowns or other technical anomalies; Perform simple repairs, adjustments and routine maintenance operations; Ensure preventive and curative maintenance of irrigation equipment; Use the vehicles and agricultural machinery necessary for the transport and setup of equipment; Ensure compliance with safety instructions and the proper use of equipment; Transmit useful information concerning the state of the installations and the progress of the work; Propose improvements allowing for the optimization of irrigation systems and water use; Provide, when necessary, technical support to other collaborators working on irrigation tasks. Your profile You must demonstrate initial professional experience in the use of agricultural sprinkler irrigation systems; You master the common operations of installation, moving, connecting and commissioning irrigation equipment; You possess good practical knowledge of hoses, connectors, sprinklers, cannons, pumps and hydraulic systems; You are able to identify an anomaly and perform simple repairs or adjustments; Training or experience in the fields of agriculture, hydraulics, mechanics or maintenance of technical equipment is an asset; You have experience in driving light agricultural machinery; You hold a valid driving license in Switzerland; You have sufficient knowledge of French to understand instructions and communicate with teams.
