To strengthen our team, we are looking for a school assistance in care at the IB 2 afternoon care center starting 01.08.2026. Tasks ## • Accompaniment and simple guidance of groups and/or individual students in the care routine • Shaping positive social and learning-promoting relationships with and between students • Simple administrative and organizational tasks at the group level (e.g. absence list) • Maintenance, tidying up and provision of materials (e.g. toys, etc.) as well as household tasks, including cleaning the kitchen and preparing meals in accordance with the catering guidelines, safety and hygiene regulations Profile ## • Good German language skills (level at least B2, level C1 an advantage) and basic PC user skills (e.g. Word, Outlook) • Experience in dealing with children and young people, patience and resilience • Good communication skills, openness to new and surprising situations, confident appearance • Good social skills, team spirit and flexibility • Discretion and confidentiality towards the outside and willingness to further educate oneself in pedagogical topics We offer ## • A varied, versatile and independent activity • A multicultural, exciting environment • Competent support from the care management • Progressive salary and social benefits according to the guidelines of the School and Sports Department of the City of Zürich (Horte) Apply Apply About us ## We are a large school community in Zürich-Nord with 19 schools. We derive our pedagogical attitude from the concept of the New Authority and thus face the daily challenges in school life together and effectively. The Im Birch 2 afternoon care center belongs to the School Im Birch. In this care center, up to 75 students from kindergarten to 3rd primary level are cared for and supervised daily.
