JuAr Basel has developed since 1942 into the largest and most important organization in Basel youth work. Our offerings include eight youth centers, two girls' meeting places, outreach youth work, youth counseling, the Basler Ferienpass, the Dreirosen leisure hall with RiiBistro and employment program, two offerings in school-supplementary day structures, as well as youth work in the GGG Stadtbibliothek. For the Badhuesli - Jugend & Kultur we are looking for a ### Head of Department (f) Open Meeting 70 % ## Your task Your areas of responsibility • Responsibility for the content-related, professional and conceptual further development of the Open Meeting • Relationship work and low-threshold counseling during opening hours as well as needs-based triage • Monthly, annual, offer and deployment planning as well as design of attractive opening hours • Planning, implementation and evaluation of projects, events and offerings • Promotion of participation, self-organization and independent project ideas of the youth • Professional guidance and support of the intern, as well as cooperation with the civil service worker • Budget responsibility, fund management, cost control, reporting and performance recording • Neighborhood networking as well as cooperation with internal and external partners • Communication and public relations work, including social media and website • Participation in the further development of the Badhuesli location Your profile You have a degree in Social Work, Sociocultural Animation or Social Pedagogy (FH/HF) or a comparable qualification. You bring experience in Open Child and Youth Work and combine professional presence in the meeting operations with an independent and structured way of working. Additionally, you bring: • Experience in project work and participatory offer design • Joy in working with youth from different life worlds • Knowledge in prevention work, youth culture work, social-spatial work and networking • Organizational talent, communicative strength, conflict competence and networked thinking • Resilience and willingness to work in the afternoon, early evening and on individual weekends  Experience and a qualification in internship supervision as well as practice in low-threshold counseling and triage are an advantage.
