Job Description ## • Prepare and check the necessary equipment for the installation of the operated patient (table - mattress - supports), specific request of the surgeon or anesthesiologist. • Plan and check the medical-technical equipment, in agreement with the instrumentist, specific to each intervention. • Take charge of the operated patient from their arrival in the operating room and accompany them to the scheduled room, with their complete file. • Transmit, if necessary, the recommendations or wishes expressed when the patient is passed by the care nurse. • Assist the anesthesiologist in the induction room and install the basic elements (pressure cuff, ECG electrodes, armrest, stand, pulse oximeter) and assist the doctor when taking the venous route, general anesthesia (intubation) or loco-regional. • Introduce the patient into the room with the anesthesiologist and continue with the final installation. • Carry out checks on the installation (support points, tourniquets, leg rests) under the control of the instrumentist, surgeon, and anesthesiologist. • Respond to the material requests of the surgeon, anesthesiologist, and instrumentist during the surgical intervention. • Install the instrumentists when preparing their instrumentation table. • Respect and apply the various protocols in place (hygiene, decontamination, washing, traceability). • Apply the work instructions (IT) • Fill out the forms (FO) developed, which are part of the ISO 9001 quality manual • Follow the checklists (CL) • Carefully note the medical-technical services on the operating room taxes and complete the references with precision. • Check the expiration dates of the Medical Devices before opening on the table. • Respect the equipment and report any incident that occurred during its use to the technical manager of the operating room (report in their notebook). • Gather the elements of the patient's file before they leave the operating room (labels - radiological file). • Accompany the anesthesiologist for the transfer of the patient to the recovery room after disconnecting the different devices used. • Evacuate biological waste, soiled laundry according to the established protocols and put in place by the reference nurse in hygiene of the operating room. • Remove and put away the medical-technical equipment that will no longer be used in their respective places. • Clean the operating room according to the protocols in force. • Leave the operating room clean and prepare it again for the rest of the program. • AT THE END OF THE PROGRAM • Clean the anesthesia room according to the established protocols. • Restore the anesthesia room to its original state. • "Check" and "replenish" all essential material for the smooth running of an operating day. • Clean the tables and their accessories (remove sticky paper, tape) and prepare the tables for the next day's program. • ON OCCASIONAL DEMAND from hierarchical superiors • Complete cleaning of the anesthesia cabinets, tables, medical-technical equipment during periods of decreased activity. • Check the Medical Devices in the anesthesia drawers, expiration dates (intubation probes - needles -) • Participate in year-end inventories.
