Manufacturing Process Engineer

Your area of responsibility #### • Supervision and further development of the manufacturing processes for a wide range of fiber optic cables used worldwide • Accompanying and documenting new developments until series maturity in an agile development team • Evaluation of new raw materials as part of product developments • Optimizing existing manufacturing processes, workflows, plant configurations, and workstations in cooperation with production • Creation and continuous expansion of process documentation according to EN9100 • Responsible for the design, procurement, and supervision of extrusion tools, injection heads, and extruders Your profile #### • Kunststofftechnologe EFZ, ideally with a focus on extrusion • Further training as a Kunststofftechniker/in HF is an advantage • Sound knowledge in continuous production with mono- and co-extrusion, material behavior of thermoplastics (e.g., HFFR-PE, PBT, TPU), their error analysis, and in quality management • Very good and rapid comprehension regarding plant operation, extrusion processes, and optical fiber technology • Analytical thinking and structured way of working, proactive and resilient • Proficient use of digital tools (process, product, and project documentation) • Fluent English and German skills in speaking and writing Wieso HUBER+SUHNER? #### • Participation in the development of the latest technologies in the field of optical fiber technology in an international customer environment • High-performance and modern machine park • 40-hour week • Contribution to fitness & baths subscriptions • Delicious menus at top prices in our staff restaurant • Wide range of training and further education opportunities • Contribution to the SBB Halbtax-Abo We look forward to hearing from you! #### You will receive feedback from us as soon as possible.
