Laboratory Analyst / Laborant (m/w/d) - also for career changers - 4-shift operation

Location: Visp (Switzerland) If required, relocation support is available for eligible candidates and their families. In this role, you will support the quality control of biologics production at the Visp site. Your work contributes directly to ensuring that medicines can be used safely and effectively worldwide. Your workplace Our laboratory was newly built in 2022 - modern, efficient, and technically up to date. We live an open feedback culture: suggestions for improvement from analysts are taken seriously, evaluated, and actively implemented (Kaizen principle). What you do You perform microbiological, biochemical, and physico-chemical analyses under GMP conditions, e.g., Bioburden, Endotoxin, HPLC / Chromatography, UV or TOC. You ensure the time-critical analysis and release of production batches in the 4-shift operation. You document results precisely and work closely with various teams. You support continuous improvement processes according to the Kaizen principle. You develop professionally - as a specialist or generalist, depending on your interests. What you bring A completed training as Laborant/in EFZ or a scientific-technical training. Motivated career changers with experience in shift work and/or in a regulated, hygienically controlled work environment will also be considered. Initial laboratory experience and GMP knowledge are an advantage. Enjoyment of precise laboratory work, responsibility, and quality awareness. German language skills at least at level B1; English language skills are an advantage. Readiness to work in the 4-shift model (early shift 5:00Uhr) and place of residence in reachable proximity to Visp. Hands-on mentality, teamwork skills, and motivation for long-term development.
