Vegetable Cultivation Employee (seasonal) 100%

As a well-known provider of organic products, we are looking for hardworking and motivated employees for vegetable cultivation in Switzerland. We are a family business with greenhouses and open-field cultivation. We produce fresh vegetables, storage vegetables, processing vegetables, greenhouse vegetables, berries and more. The extensive work includes sowing, harvesting, preparing, storing, caring, weeding, packaging and everything else that arises. Tasks • Diverse care and harvesting work in our demanding vegetable crops, lamb's lettuce in winter, cucumbers and tomatoes in summer • Care work for fruit vegetables: tying up, defoliating and fruit cutting • Weeding and planting work by hand in all vegetable crops • Sorting root vegetables on the belt, on the harvesting machine in the field • Transport of fine vegetables with the small transporter from the field to the farm Requirements: • You are used to heavy physical work, are in good condition and have no health problems. • You are ready to work in the field in all weather in every season. • You show joy in manual work. • You are hardworking and motivated • You accept the working conditions in agriculture: • 51.5h/week • Weekend work • Irregular working hours during the entire season • Remuneration according to the agricultural NAV • You speak good German (at least level A2) • You have a driving license and own your own car (mandatory!) • It is an advantage but not mandatory to have a SUVA-recognized forklift or tractor driver license • You show readiness to assist and help out in another department • You adhere to the guidelines of organic cultivation out of duty and responsibility (for example, smoking is strictly forbidden in the field!!!) • You already bring at least one year of professional experience in agriculture If you are ready to roll up your sleeves and are not too good for any work, you are exactly right with us We look forward to your dossier.
