Polymechanic Assembly / for USA large-scale project (w/m/d)

Our client is a technologically world-leading Swiss manufacturer of high-precision production systems and machine tools for the most demanding materials. For an upcoming, highly exciting large-scale project in the United States, we are looking for a technically skilled and adventurous assembly technician. After thorough training at the headquarters in the Bodensee / Eastern Switzerland region, you will relocate your workplace directly to the USA for 6 to 12 months to take a leading role in installing the systems there! Your tasks: First-class training & the large USA project • Thorough training and internal assembly of highly complex, custom-made precision machines at the Swiss headquarters • Stationary assignment abroad in the USA (for approx. 6 to 12 months) for the direct installation and commissioning of the systems at the customer's site • Professional commissioning of complex hydraulic, pneumatic, and cooling systems in the American plant • High-precision leveling and fine adjustment of the demanding machine geometries Carrying out functional checks, machining trials, as well as systematic error analysis and troubleshooting on the construction site • Carrying out practical training for local personnel and solving technical challenges in close cooperation with the engineers What you can look forward to • The unique and exciting chance to significantly implement an international large-scale project on-site in the USA • Full organizational support (visa processing, accommodation, etc.) by the employer for the duration of your USA stay • Extremely varied assembly activities on absolute top-class high-tech systems • A very modern, employee-oriented corporate culture that extraordinarily values and rewards your commitment abroad • Long-term perspectives within the company even after your successful return to Switzerland Qualifications Your profile: • Successfully completed technical basic training • Sound professional experience in a comparable industrial environment (e.g., in special machinery or plant engineering) • The absolute and unrestricted willingness for a 6- to 12-month stationary stay in the USA • Mandatory good to very good English skills for smooth communication on-site (as well as good German skills for the Swiss headquarters) • Strong technical understanding, high independence in problem-solving, and a true "doer" mentality • A strong flair and great interest in immersing yourself in the American work culture
