The Huus am Schärme offers 10 children and adolescents a safe place to live on 365 days. Embedded in the social space of Hägendorf, the house enables an everyday and life-world-oriented accompaniment. Through integration into the residential quarter, proximity to school, leisure and support services, as well as cooperation with parents, legal representatives, and specialist agencies, we create good conditions for development, participation, and independence. Our work is based on trust, participation, and relationship design at eye level. Professionally, we are guided by trauma-pedagogical principles, the principles of life-world orientation, and empowerment, and thus create a structured, reliable framework and a safe place where children can grow and unfold their strengths.
