Works Manager - Civil Engineering (M/F)

The role combines operational management, management of field teams, and autonomous decision-making on projects with high technical requirements. This position is aimed at a confirmed professional wishing to evolve in a context where responsibility, rigor, and the ability to structure operations are essential. Job Description ## Planning & organisation Structuring interventions and planning resources (teams, equipment, subcontractors). Monitoring the progress of operations and adjusting the organization if necessary. Ensuring clear reporting on objectives, deadlines, and resources. Operational management Supervising field teams and providing a structured work framework. Distributing tasks and energizing daily coordination. Guaranteeing compliance with safety standards and a high level of quality. Technical monitoring Reading and analyzing plans and technical documents. Defining execution methods adapted to site constraints. Controlling the conformity of works and their proper execution. Coordination & communication Being the client's, technical offices', operators', and local authorities' contact person. Participating in site meetings and representing the company. Identifying possible improvements on site and proposing solutions. The Successful Applicant ## Skills & experience Degree in civil engineering, construction, or related technical field. Confirmed experience in managing or conducting works (5 to 10 years). Ease with team management and operational coordination. In-depth knowledge of demanding technical environments. Experience in Switzerland is obligatory. Personal skills Natural leadership and sense of responsibility. Ability to arbitrate and decide in an operational environment. Clear communication, problem-solving spirit, autonomy. Ability to manage unforeseen events with pragmatism.
