Senior Controller 80-100% Swissmedic is the Swiss Agency for Therapeutic Products and is responsible for the authorization and supervision of therapeutic products. It ensures that only high-quality, safe and effective medicinal products are available in Switzerland, making an important contribution to the protection of human and animal health. To strengthen our Finance and Controlling department, we are looking for a Senior Controller 80 - 100% as soon as possible. Your new challenge As a Senior Controller, you will take on a central business partner role and actively develop effective controlling. You will be responsible for defined areas and advise management on all commercial and financial issues. You will strengthen know-how, convey financial relationships in a target-group-specific manner, and ensure quality and financial responsibility. You will make a significant contribution to financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, support operational accounting, and further develop instruments for planning and control. In addition, you will ensure governance, standards, and compliance, monitor guidelines, and drive the further development of processes and tools in the finance and controlling environment. Other focal points include the independent management of projects, the optimization of processes, systems, and interfaces, as well as the establishment of a consistent data base for analyses and reporting. In committees, you will represent the finance function competently and work closely with internal stakeholders. Your profile You must have training as an expert in accounting and controlling, as well as long-standing experience in controlling or finance. In-depth knowledge of IFRS, pronounced analytical skills, and a high level of numerical understanding characterize you. You work independently, responsibly, and reliably. You also follow complex topics in a structured, precise, and high-quality manner until they are resolved. Very good SAP knowledge (FI/CO) is a must; experience with BI tools is a plus. As a communicative, solution-oriented personality, you act in a networked, initiative-taking, and responsible manner. Very good German language skills and good knowledge of a second official language round out your profile.
