Project Manager Waters (m/f), 80% - 100% The Waters department of the March district is responsible for flowing waters. This area of responsibility essentially includes water construction police, hydropower utilization, watercourse development, revitalization, flood protection, and supervision of the weir system. The March voters have assigned the district new tasks in the areas of flood protection and weir system. Now, it is necessary to build new structures so that the March district can implement these new tasks. For this challenging and interesting task, we are looking for a Project Manager Waters (m/f), 80% - 100% In a first phase, your active participation is required in building and shaping the structures for the reorganization of flood protection. Your future core tasks: In this challenging function, you will organize and accompany construction and maintenance measures on flowing waters together with the weir masters. Leading and accompanying flood protection and revitalization projects from initial preliminary studies to realization (including land acquisition) to subsidization and accounting is also part of the area of responsibility. This involves coordinating legal and engineering specifications with the concerns of various interest groups and developing balanced, feasible solutions. Furthermore, you will support the Head of Waters in assessing building applications for technical interventions and structural changes to flowing waters, as well as in handling concession applications for hydropower utilization and material extraction. What you bring: For this responsible position, you have a basic technical education in construction with further training (ideally in the direction of water construction/water renovation or construction manager civil engineering) and can look back on several years of professional experience. You are familiar with public law procedures and are used to implementing projects.
