For our client, an established Swiss company in the field of technical building automation and industrial control solutions, we are looking for an independent and professionally skilled personality as an Electrical Designer Building Automation / Control Technology 80-100% (m/f) in the Luzern LU area. In this function, you will handle electrotechnical engineering tasks for demanding systems in building and energy technology. You will create electrical schematics, circuit diagrams and technical documentation, define components and work closely with project management, control system construction, assembly and commissioning. A varied task awaits you at the interface of electrical engineering, automation, control technology and technical building infrastructure. 02 Your Task ## • Creation and processing of electrical schematics, circuit diagrams, terminal diagrams, cable lists and bills of materials • Electrical design for control systems, control cabinets and automation solutions in the building technology environment • Sizing of controls, sensors, actuators, controllers, drives, safety components and field devices • Creation of manufacturing and assembly documentation for control cabinet construction, wiring and system installation • Technical clarifications with project management, automation, control system construction, assembly, purchasing and external partners • Adapting and optimizing existing electrical schematics during conversions, expansions or modernizations • Support during commissioning, technical inspections and inquiries from assembly or service • Maintenance of article data, macros, project documentation and technical documentation • Ensuring clean, standard-compliant and service-friendly documentation • Participation in standardization, process improvements and quality assurance in engineering 03 Benefits ## • Participation in external further training • Bistro or canteen • Bonus model • Progressive employment conditions • Leisure benefits • Modern workplace • Regular team-building measures and company events • Responsible activities 04 Your Profile ## • Completed training as an automation technician, electrical planner, electrical designer, electrical installer with industry or control technology experience or comparable training • Experience in electrical design, control system construction, control cabinet construction, building automation or technical building equipment • Good knowledge of EPLAN P8, AutoCAD Electrical, schematic software or comparable ECAD systems • Understanding of control technology, control technology, sensors, actuators, control cabinets and field devices • Experience with HVAC systems, refrigeration/air conditioning technology, energy systems or building technology is an advantage • Ability to construct electrical schematics cleanly, logically and ready for manufacturing • Knowledge of standards, safety requirements and electrotechnical regulations is an advantage • Practical thinking and understanding of assembly, wiring, commissioning and service • Structured, exact and solution-oriented way of working • Good German skills in speaking and writing Technical Focus Areas • Electrical design and schematic creation • Control and control cabinet technology • Building automation, control technology and technical building infrastructure • Sensors, actuators, controllers, drives and field devices • EPLAN, ECAD, terminal diagrams, cable lists and bills of materials • Interface between engineering, control system construction, assembly and commissioning • Technical documentation, standards and quality assurance 05 Useful Information ## This position is suitable for a person who does not only see electrical design on a screen, but also understands the practical connection to control cabinet construction, assembly and commissioning.
