Portrait of the school/institution ### Schule Aefligen is located quietly and close to nature between Solothurn and Bern, directly on the Emme. Whether by car via the Kirchberg/Alchenflüh motorway connection just three minutes away or by train via the Burgdorf-Solothurn line, Schule Aefligen is excellently accessible! From summer 2026, we will teach two kindergarten classes, one 1./2. grade, one 3./4. grade, and one 5./6. grade at our small, familial school. Our motivated team of twelve teachers looks forward to reinforcement - perhaps from you! Teacher 1./2. Grade with Class Teacher Function - 13-23 Lessons ### Schule Aefligen 3426 Aefligen Tasks ### Since the class teacher who had accepted the position has dropped out, we are searching again... As the class teacher of the 1./2. grade, you accompany and support 24 students. - You teach Mathematics, German, NMG, and Sport - You independently take responsibility for the planning and implementation of lessons - You contribute to the collaboration within the small, collegial team - You engage in parental work. Regarding the workload, we have some flexibility: 13 lessons can be distributed over three days. With 15 lessons, the working days would be optimal on TU, WE, and FR. With 17-19 lessons, working days on MO, TU, TH, and FR would be possible (without Wednesday). With 21 lessons, it would be TU to FR (without Monday). Depending on the level of the workload, the position is fixed-term for one semester or one year (we are glad if the lessons for the 1./2. grade do not have to be divided among too many teachers in the long term). There is the possibility to continue the position with the full workload indefinitely from summer 2027. Requirements ### You bring with you: - German as a native language - Important for teaching children at this level - A completed teaching diploma or imminent completion - or at least experience in teaching at this level and in contact with parents - Joy, cheerfulness, and an uncomplicated nature - Team spirit and commitment to a small, lively school - we have no parallel classes - Desire to contribute your ideas and actively help shape our school We offer ### Motivated classes, supportive parents.
