The Directorate of Technology and Innovation is responsible for the technology management of ICT and medical technology. As part of the Directorate of Technology and Innovation, medical technology is responsible for the professional planning, evaluation, procurement, maintenance, and decommissioning of medical technology devices. It assesses medical technology technologies and devices and documents the device stock. What awaits you As an electronics technician apprentice, you will take care of quality control and material management. This includes measurements, tests, maintenance work, as well as commissioning of various devices and systems. You will gain insight into various specialist groups in electronics. You will learn the service business, carry out orders and assignments. In the first two years of your basic training, you will complete your studies at the ICT Berufsbildungscenter AG in Bümpliz. In the 3rd and 4th year of apprenticeship, you will deepen your acquired skills in medical technology at the Inselspital. Here we offer you a wealth of coordination and communication tasks. In doing so, you will acquire modern, technological, and professional know-how.
