As Project Development Manager, you are responsible for the strategic and operational direction of project development within our Construction sector. You ensure that our infrastructure projects are developed, evaluated, and prepared professionally, from the initial idea to the handover to realization. In collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, you create the foundations for successful investment and construction projects. Your area of responsibility ## • Direction, coaching, and development of the project development team • Responsibility for the initial phases of projects - from site development • Feasibility studies up to pre-FEED, FEED, and project definition • Ensuring solid decision-making bases for investment, site, technology, and permitting decisions • Management of feasibility studies, variant analyses, risk analyses, and project development budgets • Responsibility for the definition of project requirements as well as cost, schedule, and risk frameworks before handover to execution • Coordination of collaboration between Real Estate, Engineering, Construction, Procurement, Finance, and Operations • Implementation of a uniform methodology and governance for project development • Elaboration and development of standards, validation processes, project approvals, as well as management reporting • Support to management in strategic development and portfolio decisions Your skills ## • Degree in civil engineering, architecture, project management, real estate development, or a comparable field • Several years of experience in the development and management of complex infrastructure, industrial, or large-scale construction projects • Experience in leading interdisciplinary teams • In-depth knowledge of project development, feasibility studies, investment evaluations, as well as risk and stakeholder management • Strong entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to clearly present complex contexts • Structured, solution-oriented, and pragmatic working method • Excellent skills in German and English, both spoken and written Our offer ## • A key role in the development of modern and critical infrastructure • A great deal of leeway and the possibility to sustainably influence standards and processes • Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams and direct exchange with management • A dynamic, growth-oriented environment with short decision-making processes • Modern working conditions as well as attractive employment conditions Are you ready? ## We look forward to receiving applications of all kinds (a) - the (a) symbolizes diversity, also in our job title.   We look forward to receiving your application via the "Apply now" button.
