Procurement Manager + Team Lead

Our client is an established Swiss company with a strong market position and a nationwide organization. For the further development of procurement, we are looking for an experienced personality who enjoys taking responsibility, bringing people together, and developing pragmatic solutions. In this leadership role, you will take responsibility for operational procurement and lead a well-established team. This is not about simply continuing what exists. You will be given the opportunity to question processes, improve collaboration across different areas, and further develop procurement together with your team. What awaits you ## Together with your team, you will ensure that materials are available reliably, economically, and at the right time. At the same time, you will maintain a view of the big picture and further develop structures and working methods where it makes sense. Your tasks include, among others: • Leadership and further development of the procurement team • Coordination of operational purchasing activities • Further development of processes, responsibilities, and collaboration • Maintenance and development of important supplier relationships • Support of negotiations and commercial agreements • Close cooperation with Category Management, Supply Chain, and Sales • Ensuring a reliable and economical supply of goods • Participation in the further development of systems and digital processes What you bring with you ## We are not looking for theorists, but for a personality who understands procurement, enjoys working with people, and drives changes with moderation. You bring experience in purchasing or procurement and have already led teams. A background in the building materials trade, technical trade, or an industrial environment is an advantage. Furthermore, the following are important to us: • Enjoyment of leadership and the development of employees • A good understanding of procurement and supply chain processes • Negotiation skills and entrepreneurial thinking • A structured and at the same time pragmatic way of working • Experience with ERP systems, ideally SAP • Very good German skills as well as good French skills • Willingness to travel within Switzerland What makes the task special ## Here you will find a leadership task with real scope for design.
