You are a UX/UI designer through and through: You think in user flows, design with conviction, and know why the detail makes the difference. At the same time, you are a Creative Technologist: You experiment with AI tools, know how code and design are connected, and inspire your team with ideas that others haven't even thought of yet. Your tasks: • You design user-centered interfaces that convince visually and conceptually - from the first sketch to the prototype • You build and maintain the design system of your projects - in close exchange with engineering, strategy, and content • You accompany projects from pitch to go-live and keep users, team, and timeline equally in mind • You present and represent your design decisions to customers - with attitude, empathy, and the ability to make complex ideas understandable • You work interdisciplinary: You involve developers early on, understand their constraints, and use them as a creative lever • You actively experiment with new tools - AI tools, prototyping approaches, code assistants - and share your learnings proactively in the team. You are the person who brings others to ideas they didn't know they wanted. This is how you convince us: • Completed training or studies in the field of design, interaction design, media design, or a related field - or a career path that has taken you there without someone issuing a diploma for it • At least 3 years of practical experience in UX/UI design, ideally in a digital agency or product environment • Proven experience in website projects - preferably from pitch to launch Tools and craftsmanship: • Figma is your home: Design Tokens, Auto Layout, component libraries, and collaborative work are not foreign words to you • You have a feel for animations and microinteractions - knowledge of Framer, After Effects, or similar tools is a plus • You use AI design tools actively and curiously - Claude Design, generative prototyping tools, or AI-supported mood board approaches are tools for you, not a threat • You don't shy away from opening a terminal, formulating a Claude code prompt, or searching a GitHub repository - you don't have to be a developer, but you know how design and code are connected, and you use this knowledge as a creative advantage Personality and attitude: • You are not the person who implements the first idea that comes to mind - you are the person who asks and iterates until the best idea is found • You inspire others: in the pitch, in the daily, in the design review - and in the Slack thread where you post a prototype at 2 pm that no one has ordered • You bring initiative, but can also listen and integrate • You see feedback not as criticism, but as an opportunity to develop further This is what we offer you: • An interdisciplinary tech team in Zürich with short decision-making paths and genuine design freedom - connected to the Jung von Matt TECH teams in Hamburg, Stuttgart, and Munich • Integrated into the Swiss Jung von Matt agency group with Jung von Matt BRAND IDENTITY, IMPACT, LIMMAT, and more - you don't work on an island, but in the center of one of the most creative agency ecosystems in Switzerland • Active freedom to experiment with new tools and workflows - AI-supported work is expected and promoted here, not just tolerated • Exciting projects for well-known Swiss brands with real impact claims • Regular internal knowledge-sharing sessions as well as access to conferences and further training • Modern office at Universitätstrasse 105, 8006 Zürich • A company culture in which curiosity is a core competence - and in which no one is punished for reaching a goal faster with a new tool
