Bern, Switzerland (and home office) | 80-100% Your contribution <br /> • Provide support to the head of the secretariat, the president, and the members of the AV-MPC in legal matters and administrative tasks • Prepare, to a large extent independently, written acts and criminal complaints; serve as a contact person for the extraordinary public prosecutors of the AV-MPC; prepare the conceptual and material bases for the performance of supervisory tasks by the responsible authority • Prepare the meetings of the supervisory authority and perform follow-up; draft information and conclusions; handle correspondence; draft reports, working documents, and press releases; prepare parliamentary commission hearings and possibly provide assistance to the members of the AV-MPC • Independently clarify legal issues concerning in particular public law, administrative law, and criminal procedural law; draft contracts; handle the risk management of the AV-MPC and the control of affairs <br /> What distinguishes you <br /> • University degree in law (MLaw, lic. iur. or dr. iur.) • Great interest in legal and political connections as well as in activities related to the supervisory authority • Strong performance orientation and excellent social skills; interest in committing to a small team with a horizontal organizational structure in all matters pertaining to the supervisory authority; strong conceptual and analytical skills; excellent written and oral expression skills; proficiency in MS-Office; knowledge in the field of data science is desired • Excellent knowledge of two official languages; passive knowledge of a third official language and knowledge of English <br /> In summary With your commitment at the secretariat of the Supervisory Authority of the Office of the Attorney General of Switzerland (AV-MPC), you will contribute decisively to ensuring that the AV-MPC, as an independent body directly subordinate to the Federal Assembly, can perform the tasks assigned by law.
