The IDT currently manages and maintains around 4'300 workplaces, 215 servers, 4'800 user accounts in the educational network, and 800 user accounts in the administrative domain. Within the IT services of Thoune, you will get a fascinating insight into the varied tasks of the city and help support them with our innovative IT solutions. From August 1st, 2027, we offer in the IT services a ### Your tasks: • Receive and process material, software, and network problems by phone or ticket system • Prepare and install computer workstations • Help with the analysis, resolution, and documentation of ICT problems • Support the ordering process and warranty management • Help with access rights management • Update and record knowledge entries on IT topics and create new process descriptions You bring: • Preferably a secondary school diploma or secondary school level with 10th school year • Interest in IT and new technologies • Secure mastery of German spoken and written as well as good knowledge of English • Creativity in solution research and quick understanding • Reliable, conscientious working style and willingness to learn new things • Open and helpful personality with pleasure in human contact What awaits you: • 4-year training including an external basic school year in Berne • Practical training in the areas of operation, maintenance, installation, and planning • 7 weeks of vacation, 41-hour week • Financial contribution for school materials and travel expenses • Events and activities for apprentices • Reduced-rate subscription to the municipal library, free entry to Strämu, Schwäbis, and the artistic ice rink Contact For this apprenticeship position, we require a Multicheck certificate (more information at www.multicheck.ch) to be attached to the application.
