Student Assistant 3D Printing / Additive Manufacturing (40%)

Swiss3D is a Swiss manufacturing service provider for additive manufacturing based in Bellach. We manufacture for customers from industry, medical technology, architecture and research, from prototype to series. To strengthen our production team, we are looking for a female student assistant or a male student assistant. The position is suitable for students who want to work regularly alongside their studies and gain insight into a technical manufacturing company. Your tasks You supervise our machine park in daily operations: starting and monitoring orders, providing material, maintaining systems. In addition, you will take over the post-processing and quality control of the manufactured parts as well as the order fulfillment until delivery to our customers. You will be trained by experienced colleagues who will also support you afterwards. What you bring You enjoy working independently and taking responsibility for your area. Diligence and reliability are important to you, because our customers expect parts that fit. Technical interest counts more for us than prior knowledge: we will teach you the professional basics. Manual dexterity, experience in 3D printing or CAD knowledge are an advantage, but not a requirement. Fluent German, minimum age 18 years. What we offer An insight into additive manufacturing at a professional level, as is hardly conveyed by any studies. You work on real customer orders, take on responsibility early and see the entire path from the order to the delivered component. We plan your assignments so that they can be reconciled with your timetable. Framework Work location Bellach (SO), easily accessible by public transport. Workload around 40 percent, distributed over four to five afternoons per week. Hourly wage by arrangement. Entry and duration by arrangement.
