Youth Worker (50 - 60%)

We are expanding our OJA team - and looking for you! Since September 2024, the municipality of Wangen-Brüttisellen has held the UNICEF label "Child Friendly Municipality". The OJAWB is actively committed to implementing the goals defined in the action plan and thereby strengthening the participation of children and young people in our municipality. To further develop our offer, we are expanding our three-person team and are looking, as of now or by arrangement, for a Youth Worker (50 - 60%) ## Your job: • Participation in and supervision of the offers in the open youth center • Development and realization of participatory projects that connect to the interests and lifeworlds of young people • Outreach youth work • Relationship work and individual support of young people with personal, social, or school-related concerns • Networking with organizations and specialist agencies • Public relations, social media, and administration You bring with you: • Degree in Socio-cultural Animation or Community Animation or adequate training • Practical experience in working with young people is an advantage • Recognition as a practical instructor is an advantage • Willingness to work in the evenings and occasionally on Saturdays • Planning and organizational skills What we offer: • A versatile and responsible activity with a high degree of independence • A creative field of work with openness to new ideas • A motivated and cheerful team that supports you • Subject-specific further training, networking in specialist groups, and team supervisions • An attractive workplace in the youth office at the youth center in the center of Brüttisellen We look forward to your online application!
