Maintenance Technician (m/f) - Genève

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician (m/f) to join our biotech production site based in Genève. In this position, you will report to the Maintenance Team Leader and integrate a team of multidisciplinary maintenance technicians. Your mission is to ensure the proper functioning and availability of utility installations, particularly industrial and white steam production boilers, purified water production units, and effluent decontamination/neutralization. Your main responsibilities are as follows: • Ensure the control of utilities and compliance of equipment • Perform preventive and curative maintenance of utility equipment and production machines • Guarantee the supply of steam and other fluids • Carry out or assist subcontracting companies in the inspection, installation, repair, and replacement of equipment or components • Contribute to optimization projects for production and utility equipment • Apply Lean/TPM tools and ensure compliance with GMP standards • Ensure safety and compliance with HSE rules in your area of responsibility • Provide a standby service in rotation with other team members (approx. 1 week every 7 weeks) To fulfill this mission, we are looking for a person with the following profile: • Basic technical training (CFC, Technicien ES, BTS) in industrial maintenance, polymechanics, or equivalent field; federal thermist certificate and/or OIBT qualification an asset • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in preventive and curative maintenance, with strong ease in diagnosis and fault research, ideally in a regulated environment (pharma, chemistry, food industry, etc.). Knowledge of GMP standards is an asset, as is experience in industrial utilities • Polyvalent technical skills, or strong ability and appetite to develop new expertise, in mechanics, hydraulics, electricity, ventilation, compressed air, and thermal regulation • Current level of French; knowledge of English and/or German welcome • Ease with Office Suite and GMAO tools • Mobility: home located within a maximum of 1 hour from the site and availability for standby service You are a person passionate about technology and multidisciplinary maintenance, and enjoy evolving in demanding and regulated environments.
