Music Teacher

We are looking for a full-time music teacher, capable of inspiring and motivating students. Although the position is primarily attached to our secondary school, it also includes some teaching periods in the primary school as well as the supervision of extracurricular activities. The position includes both the academic teaching of music and the development of extracurricular musical activities. On the academic level, the selected person will ensure dynamic and stimulating music teaching to students of different ages and levels. Experience teaching music within the framework of the IB Diploma Programme is an asset. The position also includes the coordination of our team of external music teachers as well as the extracurricular music program. Responsibilities include the development of musical ensembles and groups, the organization of individual music lessons, as well as the management and monitoring of specialist teachers. As a member of the Arts faculty, the selected person will collaborate on the school's artistic productions and actively participate in extracurricular activities as well as events organized on the weekend. We are looking for a fully qualified teacher, demonstrating at least two years of teaching experience within an international establishment, as well as a musician capable of teaching at least two instruments at an advanced level. Third-Country Nationals’ Applications Third-country nationals should be aware that obtaining a work permit is a lengthy process with stricter regulations for third-country nationals (such as those from the UK) compared to EU/EFTA nationals. While we may consider appointing a third-country national, preference will be given to candidates who hold a Swiss residence permit or an EU/EFTA passport.
