Your tasks <br /> • You are responsible for the project planning (conception, program) and control of the implementation of the overall occasion of the 850 Years of City of Luzern Anniversary. • You coordinate and are responsible for the execution of the anniversary events in close cooperation with the participating partners and stakeholders (administratively internal, external organizations, institutions, individuals, etc.). • You are in charge of the financial management and resource allocation of the project. • You represent and present the anniversary occasions to the responsible political authorities and in public; you prepare the necessary documents and information for this purpose. • You ensure internal and external communication in cooperation with the partners and stakeholders. <br /> Your profile <br /> • You have a completed university of applied sciences or university degree and several years of professional experience in event management and communication (larger events and multi-day events). • You correspond flawlessly in German. • You have general knowledge in finance and accounting (budgeting, financial statements, tenders, contracts, and contributions to third parties). • You are familiar with the spatial and socio-cultural conditions and developments in the City of Luzern and know how (political) processes work in the (city) administration or a large NPO. • You are a flexible and service-oriented organizational talent with a desire to shape and great team and communication skills. • You work reliably, structured, foresightedly, independently, and with the necessary discretion. In hectic situations, you remain calm. <br /> The staff of the Education Directorate coordinates the administrative activities of the Education Directorate and the City Presidency.
