With almost 25,000 inhabitants, Horgen is an attractive municipality on the left shore of Lake Zurich. The public school consists of seven school units with approximately 2,500 students from kindergarten to secondary level and employs around 500 staff members. For the Allmend school unit, we are looking for as of 1 September a School Social Pedagogue, 45 % ## What awaits you • You perform your entire annual working time during 41 weeks per year. • You accompany and support individual children with special needs and challenging social behavior in cooperation with teachers and special education teachers in the school integration into the regular class. • You create individual pedagogical support plans and implement them. • You work with all reference persons of the child, especially with legal guardians, and also make home visits if necessary. • You initiate crisis interventions where necessary, taking into account the mandate and responsibilities. • In addition, you work together with the school team, the childcare, the school social work and other specialist agencies.
