We are looking for a Medical Assistant for our Pre-anesthesia Consultation at 90% Key information about the position: Reference: CLS/RH/2026.772 / Contract type: CDI at 90% (1 variable day off every 2 weeks) / Hours: Monday to Friday according to 2 schedules: 7:45-16:45 / 8:00-17:00 / Start date: as soon as we find the right person / Location: in the heart of Lausanne (M2 stop "Riponne" or Bus 2, 3 or 21 stop "Beaulieu-Jomini") Why do we need you? In order to support the activity of our Pre-anesthesia Consultation, we are looking for a Medical Assistant who will contribute to offering each patient calm, personalized, and high-quality care. Acting as a true interface between patients, anesthesiologists, and external partners, you will evolve within a committed team where your technical expertise, sense of organization, and interpersonal skills will make the difference. What will you be required to do? • Ensure the physical and telephone reception of patients, their relatives, and various interlocutors, while guaranteeing professional and caring care. • Organize and coordinate pre-anesthesia consultation appointments. • Compile, check, and prepare patients' medical files. • Assist anesthesiologists during consultations and contribute to the proper progress of care. • Perform medico-technical acts falling within the competencies of the medical assistant, notably blood tests, electrocardiograms (ECG), Uricult, urine sticks, and nasopharyngeal swabs, upon prescription or medical request (approximately 10% of the activity). • Ensure the entry of services for billing purposes. • Manage the processing of incoming and outgoing mail as well as the dispatch of files to prescribing practices. • Ensure the management of stocks of medical equipment and consumables, ensure their replenishment, and carry out necessary orders. Who will you work with? • The team includes two dynamic and complementary medical assistants, who collaborate closely with the anesthesiologists. Always smiling and in good spirits, they tackle daily challenges together. • Jean-Marc Dehillotte, Head of anesthesia, recovery room and pre-anesthesia consultation, has more than 25 years of experience in this field. What do we expect from you? Essentials: • CFC as a Medical Assistant or training deemed equivalent and recognized in Switzerland. • Experience in an activity combining reception, administrative management, and medico-technical acts. • Mastery of blood sampling, electrocardiograms (ECG) and other technical acts falling within the competencies of the medical assistant. • Excellent organizational, planning, and priority management skills. • Sense of service, interpersonal ease, and the ability to establish a climate of trust with patients. • Rigor, autonomy, and discretion in the management of medical information. • Ease with IT tools and patient file management software. • Excellent command of French, both oral and written. Your assets: • Experience in pre-anesthesia consultation, anesthesia or in a hospital or clinic environment. • Knowledge of the patient pathway in ambulatory surgery or in an operating environment. • Mastery of DPI, electronic patient file (Clevehr) and/or medical billing software (Opale). • Knowledge of one or more foreign languages, notably English. • Team spirit, flexibility and adaptability.
