Bern, Switzerland (and home office) | 80-100% Your contribution <br /> • Elaborate, independently or in a group, descriptive and scientific analyses on Swiss foreign trade and customs data, collaborating with the team on the realization of publications • Further develop the methodology in the field of statistical information and ensure its quality and consistency • Perform the adjustment of working days and the seasonal adjustment of foreign trade results, assuming methodological responsibility • Update foreign trade indices and further develop their methodology • Represent the interests of the organizational unit within internal and external bodies of the Federal Administration <br /> What distinguishes you <br /> • University degree in political economy or equivalent training • Solid knowledge of statistical methods, in particular time series analysis, as well as experience in data analysis and database management • Excellent programming knowledge in R, Python and SQL • Familiarity with agile development methods • Excellent analytical and conceptual skills as well as excellent editorial skills • Solid knowledge of two official languages and good knowledge of English <br /> In summary Data is your element and precision is your strength.
