A conveyor chain of over 1'000 meters connects several plant areas - from the glaze chamber welding system and pretreatment via dryers, three powder lines, and the firing furnace to the Topclean coating and the Topclean oven. What this position offers you ### • In daily business, you technically coordinate around seven plant operators, set priorities, assign workstations, and ensure that the line runs safely, efficiently, and in the required quality • You actively work on the line, support the team with technical and procedural questions, and coordinate closely with the team leader regarding the daily program, resources, and escalations • You analyze malfunctions systematically, resolve them independently within your area of responsibility, and involve internal or external specialist departments if necessary • You adjust robot programs, plant controls, and coating parameters and continuously develop them further • After careful and practical induction by our existing technical specialist, you will gradually take over technical responsibility for further plant areas • With growing plant knowledge, you will develop into a central technical contact person for the entire enamelling line and continuously expand your area of responsibility • You participate in maintenance, conversions, and technical measures and actively contribute to the further development of plants, processes, and systems • In doing so, you can expect a lot of creative freedom at the interface of production, robotics, process optimization, and technical coordination - with a direct impact on the quality, stability, and performance of the plant • Additionally, you maintain plant, training, and process documentation and ensure a clean and well-organized work area What you bring for the position ### • You have completed a technical vocational apprenticeship - such as Plant Operator EFZ, Automatics Technician EFZ, Polymechanic EFZ, or Mechatronics Technician - or have a comparable education • Ideally, you bring at least three years of practical experience with complex, automated production plants. Crucially, you know technical dependencies within a coherent plant from your own experience • You have practical experience in robot programming and/or plant controls and want to deepen your knowledge further. Knowledge in powder coating, enamelling, or surface treatment is a plus • You investigate malfunctions systematically and fact-based, act calmly even under time pressure, and do not lose track when several topics require attention simultaneously • You communicate clearly and appreciatively, take technical responsibility, and provide reliable orientation to the plant operators in daily business. Very good German skills are required • You bring a high IT affinity, find your way around complex plant controls, and enjoy not only understanding processes but actively improving them.
