It includes Higher Officer Training, Army Personnel, five training formations, the Instruction Center, and the specialized service Women in the Army and diversity. One third of the approximately 2350 employees is active in civil professions in scientific, technical, medical, psychological, administrative, or sporting fields and contributes to success alongside professional soldiers. The Swiss Army employs over 9000 employees within the framework of four military professions and approximately 200 civil professions, in 110 locations throughout the national territory.
