Berne, Switzerland | 100-100% (jobsharing possible) What you can contribute <br /> • You collect, analyze, and manage the business and technical requirements of all the areas entrusted to you. • You evaluate technical specifications and supplier offers from the perspective of performance, costs, and budget. • You lead DWH and BI projects or assume the leadership of partial projects. • You ensure specialized leadership, as a service manager, of the assigned IT services relating to labor market statistics as well as operational and decision-making reporting. • You are responsible for the design, business analysis / requirements engineering, and test management for DWH and BI projects as well as for the maintenance and development of IT services. • You ensure that the specialized areas are advised on analysis, BI, reporting, and statistics. <br /> What makes you unique <br /> • Completed higher education (HES, university) in management information systems, computer science, or an equivalent qualification is an asset. • Several years of professional experience in the field of management information systems, preferably in the management of IT systems and complex IT architectures. • Very good knowledge and proven experience in the analytical, BI, DWH, reporting, and statistics fields. • Analytical and conceptual thinking skills, ability to exercise functional leadership, and a taste for working in multidisciplinary teams. • Good active knowledge of an official language, both oral and written, passive knowledge of a second language, and knowledge of English. <br /> In a few words The SECO Labor Directorate is part of the Confederation's competence center for all key issues relating to labor market policy and unemployment insurance (UI). The Datawarehouse Application Services group, which is part of the IT sector, contributes to the preparation and monthly production of official labor market statistics in Switzerland; it provides tools for efficient and results-oriented management and steering of decentralized execution as well as decision-support tools for the compensation body and the execution bodies; it is responsible for a dozen extensive Data and Analytics applications.
