• 04 August 2026 • 100% • Indefinite duration • Winterthur New Engines Project Manager (m/f/d) Location: Winterthur Start date: To be agreed Workload: 100% Responsibilities: • Technical and administrative management of the project in the development of 2-stroke marine engines from project definition and the concept phase through to basic and detailed design and commissioning, up to the handover of the product to external and internal parties; • Planning and scheduling: Develop a detailed project plan, including deadlines, milestones, and resource allocation • Coordination: Work with multiple teams, including engineering, design, and local product centers to ensure all project deliverables are ready on time • Testing and validation: Oversee the planning of engine tests to ensure that the engine meets design specifications and safety standards • Documentation: Maintain up-to-date records of key project activities to ensure that the project can be audited according to relevant standards • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve any issues arising during project execution • Communication: Keep all stakeholders informed of progress and any issues that may impact the project schedule • Risk management: Identify, qualify, quantify, and manage project risks, and ensure that all possible scenarios have been appropriately taken into account Requirements: • University degree in engineering (mechanical) • 2-3 years of fundamental experience in project management • Minimum 3 years of development of 2 or 4-stroke diesel/Otto engines, preferably in the marine sector • PMP (Project Management Professional) certificate or equivalent • Good understanding of the engineering process for marine engine development • Knowledge of the marine industry as well as marine applications and regulations • Ability to read and understand technical drawings • Passion for prototype development and achieving results • Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment and to work within diverse teams with a pragmatic attitude • Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with others and manage conflict resolution if necessary • Excellent oral and written communication skills (English) Our offer: • An opportunity to shape the sustainability and environmental impact of the marine industry.
